Community Guidelines
iDeal DP β operated by Dynamic Dating Group, Inc.
Version 1.0 β Effective August 4, 2026
This American English version is the reference version.
Our Principle
iDeal DP exists so that adults can meet, talk, and build something β a relationship, a friendship, a network, a night out. That only works if everyone feels safe and respected.
These Guidelines are an integral part of the Terms of Service. Violating them is a breach of contract that may result in content removal, feature restrictions, suspension, or a permanent ban, without refund.
They apply to everything you do on the Service: profile, photos, bio, messages, calls, reels, stories, posts, comments, communities, events, outings, invitations β and to your conduct at in-person meetings arranged through the Service.
1. Be Yourself
Expected
- Use your real identity, your real age, and recent photos of yourself.
- One account per person.
- Be honest about your intentions: relationship, friendship, outings, networking.
Prohibited
- Impersonating anyone, real or fictional, including public figures.
- Using someone else's photos, AI-generated images presented as photos of you, or photos substantially altered in a misleading way.
- Lying about your age. The Service is strictly limited to those 18 and over.
- Creating multiple accounts, or creating a new account after a ban.
- Selling, renting, lending, or transferring access to your account.
- Operating an account on behalf of another person.
Identity Certification lets you demonstrate that you are who you say you are. It is optional, but it is the strongest trust signal you can give.
2. Respect Others
Expected
- A "no," silence, or withdrawal is respected immediately, and no explanation is owed.
- Disagreement is normal; aggression is not.
Prohibited
- Harassment in any form: repeated messages after a refusal or a block, insults, humiliation, threats.
- Stalking: following, surveilling, showing up at someone's home or workplace, or seeking their identity off-platform against their will.
- Hateful or discriminatory speech based on national origin, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, health status, age, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- Coordinated harassment, or encouraging other members to target someone.
- Disclosing private information about a person without their consent (doxxing): address, employer, phone number, family situation, orientation, health status.
- Evading a block using another account.
3. Consent and Intimate Content
Expected
- Ask before sending sexual content. Every time.
- What someone shares with you privately stays private.
Prohibited
- Sending unsolicited sexual images or messages.
- Distributing, threatening to distribute, or reselling intimate images of a person without consent, including after a breakup (revenge porn).
- Sextortion: obtaining money, images, or favors under threat of disclosure.
- Capturing, recording, or republishing another member's private content outside the Service β including screenshots of ephemeral messages.
- Posting pornography or explicit nudity in public areas of the Service: profiles, reels, stories, posts, communities.
- Creating or distributing AI-generated or AI-altered intimate content depicting a real person (deepfakes).
4. Child Safety β Zero Tolerance
This section admits no exception, no nuance, and no discretionary appeal.
Prohibited
- The presence of anyone under 18 on the Service.
- Any content involving a minor in a sexual or suggestive context, including fictional, drawn, textual, or AI-generated material.
- Any attempt to contact a minor, solicit images, or isolate a minor from trusted adults.
- Any profile photo or post that depicts a child ambiguously.
What we do
Any account involved is immediately and permanently deleted, without notice, without refund, and with no possibility of appeal. Materials are preserved and transmitted to the competent authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States and law enforcement in the relevant country.
If you suspect a minor is present: report immediately through the in-app tool or to safety@idealdp.com. Do not conduct your own investigation and do not retain images.
5. No Money, No Scams
Romance fraud is the leading threat facing members of any dating service.
Prohibited
- Asking for money, a loan, cryptocurrency, gift cards, a wire transfer, or financial credentials, under any pretext.
- Offering "investments," trading, or financial opportunities (pig butchering).
- Phishing: fraudulent links, fake login screens, fake verification prompts.
- Blackmail and breach of trust.
- Claiming to be stranded abroad, hospitalized, deployed in the military, held by customs, or any other story designed to justify an urgent need for money.
Our rule for you is simple and absolute: never send money to someone you met online. No situation justifies an exception. We will not be able to recover the funds.
6. The Service Is Not a Sales Channel
Prohibited
- Advertising, promoting products or services, and solicitation.
- Commercial recruiting, multi-level marketing, and pyramid schemes.
- Promoting paid-content accounts, third-party dating sites, cam services, or subscription platforms.
- Prostitution, escort services, solicitation of paid sexual acts, and human trafficking.
- Selling drugs, weapons, medication, forged documents, or any unlawful goods.
- Fundraising, crowdfunding, and charitable solicitation.
7. Violent, Dangerous, or Illegal Content
Prohibited
- Threats of violence, incitement to violence, or glorification of an assault.
- Terrorist or extremist content, or content praising a violent organization.
- Graphic violence, mutilation, animal cruelty, or images of crimes or accidents.
- Promoting or encouraging suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders.
- Promoting illegal activity.
If you are struggling. Our service is not a substitute for professional help. Contact a healthcare professional or your country's emergency services β 911 in North America, 112 in Europe. If you see a concerning message from another member, report it: we take these reports seriously.
8. Communities, Events, and Outings
For organizers
- Describe the activity, location, cost, and attendance honestly.
- You are fully responsible for organization, safety, permits, and insurance. iDeal DP is not an organizer, co-organizer, or insurer.
- Moderate your community: you are accountable for what you allow to be posted.
- Do not use a community to circumvent these Guidelines.
For participants
- Signing up is a commitment: give notice if you cancel.
- Respect each community's own rules, so long as they do not conflict with these Guidelines.
Prohibited: sexual events, unlawful gatherings, activities presenting an obvious danger, and communities used as a front for organized commercial or political activity.
9. Technical Integrity
Prohibited
- Automated data extraction (scraping), bots, scripts, and automated agents.
- Using Service content, profiles, images, or data to train, fine-tune, or evaluate an artificial intelligence model.
- Circumventing security, quota, encryption, or moderation measures.
- Reverse engineering, decompilation, and use of modified app builds.
- Introducing malicious code or impairing the availability of the Service.
- Unauthorized security testing. To report a vulnerability in good faith: security@idealdp.com.
- Using Smart Search or any other feature to search for a specifically named individual: these attempts are blocked and logged.
- Reports that are manifestly unfounded, repetitive, or filed to cause harm.
10. Meeting Safely
These are recommendations rather than disciplinary rules, but they protect you.
- Make the first date a public place, ideally during daylight.
- Tell someone: where, with whom, and when you expect to be back. Use Safe Date and your trusted contacts.
- Arrange your own transportation, both ways. Do not get into a stranger's vehicle.
- Do not share your home address or workplace before you have built trust.
- Do not leave your drink unattended.
- A video call before meeting eliminates most fake profiles. A persistent refusal is a warning sign.
- Leave as soon as you feel uncomfortable. You owe no explanation.
Essential reminder. Dynamic Dating Group, Inc. does not conduct criminal background screenings on its members. Certification confirms an identity β not character, and not the absence of danger.
11. How We Enforce These Guidelines
11.1 Reporting
From any profile, message, piece of content, community, or event: β― β Report. Or by email to notice@idealdp.com. For an emergency involving a minor or immediate danger: safety@idealdp.com.
State the item concerned, the reason, and, where possible, supporting evidence. Reports are confidential: the person reported does not learn who reported them.
Blocking is immediate, unilateral, and lasts until you lift it. You can block without reporting, and report without blocking.
11.2 How we decide
Every report is triaged by automated tools, then reviewed by a person. No enforcement action is taken solely on the basis of automated processing.
We weigh the severity of the conduct, whether it was intentional, the harm caused, the context, and the account's history.
11.3 Possible measures
| Level | Measure | Typical cases |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Warning | First minor violation, isolated inappropriate remarks |
| 2 | Content removal or hiding | Non-compliant photo, bio, or post |
| 3 | Feature restriction | Temporary loss of messaging, posting, or reporting |
| 4 | Temporary suspension | Repeated or moderately serious violation |
| 5 | Suspension | Serious violation, pending fuller review |
| 6 | Permanent ban | Minor, child sexual abuse material, violence, fraud, non-consensual intimate images, repeat offenses |
A ban is permanent: it prohibits the creation of any new account. No refund is due where an account is terminated for a serious violation.
We may act without notice where there is a serious and imminent risk to a person, manifestly illegal content, or an order from an authority.
11.4 You will be told why
Any restriction decision is communicated with a clear statement of reasons: the conduct at issue, the basis in these Guidelines or in law, any use of automated means, and available remedies. This is a requirement of Article 17 of the European Digital Services Act, which we apply to all our members.
11.5 Appealing a decision
A suspended account retains minimal access to submit a reasoned appeal of 20 to 2,000 characters. It is reviewed by a person who did not make the original decision, ordinarily within 15 days.
If the internal appeal does not resolve the matter, members residing in the European Union may refer it to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under Article 21 of the Digital Services Act. Consumers in France may use a consumer mediator free of charge; contact details are available at legal-eu@idealdp.com.
Exception: bans issued for harm to a minor or for child sexual abuse material are not subject to discretionary appeal.
12. Changes to These Guidelines
These Guidelines evolve with the Service and with the behavior we observe. Any material change is announced at least 30 days before it takes effect. Prior versions are archived and available on request.
